Shkarofsky function : ウィキペディア英語版 | Shkarofsky function The Shkarofsky function is a physics formula which describes the behavior of microwaves. It is named after Canadian physicist Issie Shkarofsky, who first identified the function in 1966.〔I.P. Shkarofsky, "Dielectric Tensor in Vlasov Plasmas near Cyclotron Harmonics" in ''Physic of Fluids'' 9, 561 (1966)〕 N.M. Temme and S.S. Sazhin later developed this idea further to give what they called the generalized Shkarofsky function.〔Sazhin and Temme, "Relativistic Effects on Parallel Whistler-Mode Propagation and Instability" in ''Astrophysics and Space Science'', April 1990, Volume 166, Issue 2, pp 301-313〕〔Temme, Sumner and Sazhin, "Analytical and Numberical Analysis of the Generalized Shkarofsky Function" in ''Astrophysics and Space Science'', August 1992, Vol 194, Issue 2, pp 173-196.〕 ==References==
